Yamkela is Xhosa for “welcome” and that is exactly how you will feel when entering our guest house. Yamkela is situated in the heart of the Klein Karoo close to Oudtshoorn city centre. Enjoy a scenic drive over Swartberg Pass to the hamlet of Prince Albert, returning via Meiring's Poort which is well-known for its interesting geological formations. Oudtshoorn is becoming an all-year-round destination and Yamkela Guest House is the right location to start from.
