Wild & Free Private Game Lodge

My wife and myself went to Wild and Free for our 5th wedding anniversary. It truly was a memorable experience. The team are brilliant and if you are looking for privacy, luxury and romance then this is the place for you.

My wife and I had an excellent time at Wild and Free for our wedding anniversary!! Jabu, Frans and the rest of the team really looked well after us, and my wife truly enjoyed the small things like having condense milk with her coffee on an early morning game drive. The food was as the last time out of this world! We can truly recommend Wild and Free to relax and be treated like kings and queens!

All was perfect. Heidi and Jabo were so friendly and the accomodition is perfect. We enjoyed it very much.

My husband and I treated ourselves to a short break in December 2011 at Wild & Free, which is less than a two-hour drive from Jhb. We were not disappointed. It is the most romantic, private setting with lovely personal touches, breathtaking views and excellent service and food. We stayed in the beautiful Zebra Suite and loved the outdoor shower and bath experience! Great for summer stays! The other rooms are lovely too. We were also impressed with the game viewing experience; the reserve has abundant wildlife. Overall, a wonderful relaxing stay. Hope to be back soon.

Wow, what a wonderful place. It was our ninth wedding anniversary and we wanted to treat ourselves again like every other year, but this year was the absolute best - so much so that my wife now wants to cancel our planned Maldives trip next year and celebrate the big 10 year anniversary for a longer time at Wild and Free. You will not find more luxury anywhere else. Jabu, Heidi and team made sure that we had the time of our life and the finer touches were unbelievable, even on the house sometimes. Jabu is a master chef, the likes of a Jamie Oliver mixed with a Justin Bonello. I don’t think you will find better cuisine in Sandton or Cape Town. The game drives were magnificent and the ranger made sure we saw everything we wanted to. The 'Dagga Boys', two special, magnificent male buffalo’s at a watering hole, were the best. Thanks Wild and Free for a superb time.
