Really, really great place!,26 September 2006
Took my wife and her family and grandmother for the weekend...wished we had more time. I really would have wanted to just spend a day or two in the apartment (we booked the 3-bed family unit - stunning!!!)...just looking out to the ocean...having a braai, perhaps.
This is a really nice place. The next time I am in Cape Town on a break, this is the place I will be going to!

The apartments are ideally located for whale- watching in False Bay from mid-August through mid- October each year.
The world-renowned penguin colony at Boulders Beach (on the way to Simon's Town) offers close-up penguin viewing and is well worth a morning's excursion.
Kalk Bay, a quaint fishing harbour and village is 25 minutes walk away, or 3 minutes by car, or train, and offers a variety of antique shops, seafood restaurants, coffee shops and art dealers. Simon's Town is a similar distance away and offers a naval museum, toy museum and dockside restaurants. The Cape Point Nature Reserve is 15 minutes away by car.
