]Walkerbouts is a fully licensed, pet friendly, spacious, six en-suite bedroomed haven located in the village of Rhodes in the Barkly East district of the Eastern Cape Highlands
The bar has a pizza oven ensuring that guests can enjoy the best pizzas in the Highlands as they come out of the oven. In addition to pizzas our restaurant serves a variety of meals to cater for carnivores and vegetarians alike.
The Highlands are an outdoor enthusiasts paradise with access to more than 200km of fly-fishing within an hour's drive of the village as well as guided rock art tours, 4x4 routes, Alpine flowers in summer, snow skiing in winter, horse-riding, mountain biking and much more.
The roads to Rhodes are gravel, narrow and winding. Allow at least 1 hour for the 60km journey from Barkly East to Rhodes. Cancellation and medical insurance are recommended

Walkerbouts has five en-suite bedrooms and a "Honeymoon suite" (Rondawel in the flower garden) all complete with panel heaters and beds with electric blankets to ward off the winter chill. Four of the rooms ablutions have showers, two have showers in the bath. All have double beds, some of which have one or two single beds for families overnighting, especially in winter, en-route to Tiffindell. Rates are offered on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis out of season and Bed and Breakfast in season. Children under 2 years stay free and under 12 years of age: 30% discount
