Vanhaven Self-Catering

We really enjoyed our stay and found the unit to be very clean, tidy and attractively decorated. On the last day Melodi also surprised us with freshly baked homemade scones (with strawberry jam & fresh cream) in the morning which put an exceptional touch to a very pleasant stay. We found both Lauren and Melodi's hospitality to commendable and will recommend them to anybody visiting the Hermanus area.

A bit about this place

Situated in the Western Cape, South Africa, Vanhaven offer self catering holiday apartments in Hermanus. Nestling between mountains and the cool Atlantic ocean, Hermanus is famed for it's mild climate, champagne air and famous vineyards. The annual Hermanus Whale Festival held in September attracts international and local visitors. The self catering apartments, set in a quiet area of Sandbaai, sleep two, with an additional sleeper couch in the lounge. The apartments, with either a shower or corner bath, have linen and towels supplied. Include equipped kitchen, BBQ, TV, DVD player, garden and secure parking. Hermanus offer the best land based whale watching from July to October. Only one hour from Cape Town International Airport.
