Welcome to Tranquil C’s. An affordable and comfortable, owner-managed (self-catering and B and B) guesthouse with a friendly atmosphere and a great location. Come and discover Cape charm at its best on this rare stretch of unspoiled paradise of natural wealth and scenic wonder as we are within easy walking distance to:
- all the main beaches
- especially Grotto Beach (Blue Flag status) with its 18 kilometres of expansive powdery white and
- The beautiful secluded rock-protected coves
- The various rock- and tidal pools teeming with marine life
- The lagoon with its lovely lukewarm water
- The stunning cliff paths that hug the coastline
- The whales cavorting in the coastal waters
- As well as being perfectly placed at the foot of the idyllic scenic Mosselberg mountain range
- With its 60 kms of well-maintained, Fynbos covered hiking trails,
- And only 5 min. drive from the buzzing village centre.
As our home is your home-away-from-home, we, Chris and Heté Fourie, pride ourselves in our fresh, clean, comfortable accommodation and warm relaxed hospitality as we understand that self-catering means doing your own thing at your own relaxed pace in your own private space. We have, therefore, available two self-catering units or three en suite B and B rooms: Unit 1: A two-bedroom (en suite) luxury unit which comprises the whole ground floor area of the double storey main house (TV/DVD and full DStv bouquet) - sleeps maximum six persons comfortably. Unit 2: A one-bedroom (en-suite) cozily-furnished family cottage (TV/DVD and facilities for own DStv decoder and card) - sleeps family of four to five persons comfortably.
Both units are fully equipped, but please bring your own beach towels. Braai facilities available.
