Down a country lane in the heart of rural Noordhoek, you will find Tranquility Cottage nestled amongst the trees. The free standing cottage offers private, relaxed, comfortable and luxurious accommodation for those who enjoy open spaces and beautiful night skies.

The cottage consists of a main bedroom with a queen-sized bed and white percale linen, lounge with a double sleeper couch, full satellite TV, DVD and CD Hi-Fi. The kitchen is open-plan and fully-equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, microwave, full-sized fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and all the appliances that may be required. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin and there is a bamboo enclosed hot water shower in the garden. A deck with hammock, table and chairs, braai facility and fully enclosed garden complete the picture for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

We supply all linen, towels, beach towels, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fruit, mustard bath, soap and scented candles on arrival. The cottage is serviced once a week and towels are changed every four days. We also supply fresh eggs from our chickens and there is an organic herb and vegetable garden. There are plenty of home comforts in the cottage including hair dryer, books, magazines, CD's, games and fresh flowers.

Two mountain bikes are available for guests use on request. Tranquility Cottage is situated minutes from the majestic Chapman's Peak Drive and the pristine 8 km stretch of Noordhoek Beach. 30 minutes from Cape Town city centre and the airport, Noordhoek offers a unique combination of easy access to all of Cape Town's main attractions with the benefits of a peaceful and rural charm.
Attractions nearby are horse riding on Noordhoek beach, Boulders penguin colony, Swimming,surfing,kite surfing,scuba diving and kayaking on Noordhoek beach and the False, Bay beaches, Wine route locally and 15 minutes from the Constantia valley, Cape Point Nature reserve, Local pubs,restaurants,shops, cinemas and farmstall. Tennis and squash, 3 golf courses within a 15 minute drive and many more.
