Baie aangenaam, veral omdat alles skoon en netjies was. Ons is 'n afgetrede egpaar en het die billike prys vir sulke verblyf baie waardeer. Daar is sekerlik baie mense wat soos ons verkies om sulke nie-luukse maar ordentlike oornagplekke oor te slaap.

A bit about this place
Toverberg Guest Houses are a selection of beautifully restored Karoo townhouses. All houses are situated within the historic part of Colesberg, next to the Dutch Reformed Church.
The townhouses in Bell Street offer 2 or 3 bedrooms, most with en suite bathroom facilities. Each house has a cosy lounge, a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and SABC TV. Full self-catering facilities are available in several houses. Secure parking in lockup garages next to the houses.
26 Stockenstroom has 2 family rooms en suite, 2 double rooms and one single room sharing a bathroom. There is a communal kitchen, dining room, TV room, barbeque facilities and secure parking.
Breakfast is served on request and where practical served in you unit. Excellent restaurants, shops and a supermarket are all within walking distance. 3 star grading by TGCSA. AA Highly recommended.
From its earliest days Colesberg has been a bustling resting and meeting place, a gateway to the north for explorers and hunters – later also for those seeking their fortune on the Diamond and Goldfields. The town still is a traveller’s oasis on the main routes to the interior and the coast. Here the N1 and the N9 meet and the town is the southern gateway to the Lake !Xariep Tourist Route (R58) which covers Gariepdam, Norvalspont, Venterstad, Oviston and Bethulie. The Colesberg-Kemper Museum with its 19th century toy collection and memorabilia, is also the permanent house to the UNISA Karoo Nomad Photographic Exhibition. Together with Anglo-Boer War sites and a fine selection of 19th century buildings Colesberg offers an exciting reflection on the past and present.
Close by is a nine hole golf course with challenging Karoo fairways but well-maintained grass greens and aprons and well-equipped club house facilities. Other facilities in town include tennis courts, cycling and walking routes, bird-watching and unique sunrises and sunsets.
