Brulpan Game Reserve forms part of the Kalahari, consisting of approximately 25 000 acres owned by Wessel and Adri van Wyk. The Game Reserve has a very unique variety of vegetation types, which broadly classified into Nama Karoo, Kalahari and Karoo mountain vegetation. This wide range of veld types creates a rich biodiversity, which provide suitable habitats for a wide variety of fauna and flora. The 25 000 acre Brulpan Private Game Ranch and Lodge is located in the Northern Cape Province approximately 100 km south east of the town Upington, between the southern latitudes 28°53' and 28°59' and the eastern longitudes 21°42' and 21°49' in the Nama Karoo Biome. The 8 luxurious air conditioned double rooms with their crisp while linen have spacious en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV and internet connections, telephone, minibars, under floor heating. A private lounge - trophy room, poolside restaurant and bar, serenity spa and lapa will surely increase your comfort and make the stay even more memorable in a true hospitable South African fashion. It is a upmarket private lodge, where true South African cuisine is prepared by our in-house chef with a distinctive local flavour. This lodge is fully catered with trackers and cleaning staff. Other outfitting facilities include cold rooms, an abattoir, trophy preparation room, meat processing room, swimming pool and braai area. Thuru's landing strip is for the convenience to fly by charter plane direct. The landing strip with a ground service is 800m in length and 20m in width. Direction is North-east South-west and GPS coordinates 28 degrees 54.674 south and 21 degrees 46.797. Warning: 320m height tower at GPS 28 degrees 52.980 south and 21 degrees 44.164 east.
