The Studio

Description

The Studio is a double-story, self-catering apartment. It has recently been renovated and is newly furnished in a modern style. The apartment is located in the village centre, hardly a five-minute stroll from the restaurants, cafes, and shops that Franschhoek is renowned for.

The Studio is light and airy, having lots of windows and a very high ceiling due to the mezzanine floor which houses the upstairs bedroom. The apartment offers two double bedrooms; the downstairs bedroom can be set up with a king-size bed or twin beds, while the upstairs loft style room has a queen-size bed. The downstairs bathroom is shared by both bedrooms.

The open-plan lounge and kitchen features air-conditioning, DVD player, and DStv and has a beautiful large closed in fireplace for the winter. Leading off the lounge, through triple doors which fold away, is a private enclosed courtyard with a back-lit water feature, tables and chairs. The area is ideal for sunbathing, relaxing, or enjoying an outside evening meal and has a private entrance from the driveway in addition to the front/street entrance. Cars may be parked in the driveway or on the street.

A laundry service is available on request and tea, coffee, milk, and fruit is provided upon arrival. We require a minimum stay of two nights, and children over the age of 10 years are welcome.
