The Mystic Tin & Karoo Brew[ery]

Cynthia and Alan Blain welcome you to The Mystic Tin and Karoo Brew(ery). We have on offer a value-for-money B&B with four rooms, each with en-suite showers. Two are family rooms sleeping two adults and two children comfortably. The two Garden Rooms are doubles but can be configured to two singles. We have a big garden where you can relax and enjoy the views that surround you.

On site we have a fabulous bistro-style a la carte restaurant that serves great meals at night. Items on the menu include local venison fillet and curries. Indoors it is very warm and intimate, with décor from the 60s and 70s, and our outdoor garden seating is very popular. Espresso coffee, light lunches and late breakfasts are also available during most days.

Spend some time enjoying the quiet and peace in the middle of our amazing little Klein Karoo town after a busy day of exploring the surroundings. We are centrally located near all the shops and conveniences of our village. Many activities can be enjoyed during the day and we are close to a large number of wineries. Montagu is well known for its hot springs, dried fruit, hiking and rock climbing.

Our Karoo Brew(ery) offers you the opportunity to taste three different ales, namely the Karoo Ale, the Honey Ale and the Dark Ale, which are all brewed on the premises.

The restaurant is fully licensed and we have credit card facilities available for Visa and Master cards. Regretfully no Amex or Diners cards are accepted.

Children under two stay free and kids over 12 are regarded as adults. Personally operated by the owners, they are dedicated to make your stay with them feel like you are with family. The Mystic Tin is one truly special little hospitality oasis.
