Just had a one night stay, pleasant enough. Good sized rooms with a spacious layout and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was as expected with continental and cooked options.

We stayed in the luxury home across the street and it was great. We enjoyed having our own house but being able to take breakfast at the guest house. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, shops, etc.

The Corner House was a well run establishment although the bathrooms could have been improved upon. The owner and staff were very attentive and the location was ideal for walking into the centre of Franschoek.

Description
Here is a little information about our guesthouse:
Situated in a leafy residential area near to the centre of the Franschhoek village, only a five to ten minute walk to all of the famous restaurants, museums and shops.
Our comfortable six rooms are all en suite with bath, shower or both and are tastefully decorated.
The wrap around veranda overlooks our fully enclosed private garden and sparkling pool.
Relax watching the African sunset from our veranda whilst sampling local wines or a simple cup of tea or coffee!
Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 10.30am each day and check in time is from 2pm and check out time is 11am each day unless otherwise pre-arranged with our management.
Should you expect to arrive at the guesthouse after 5pm please let us know in advance.
Dick, Daniele, Maureen or Liesl will be on hand to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

| Number Ten is directly across the road to the guesthouse, it is a fully equipped luxury self catering home or it can be serviced and breakfast taken in the guesthouse with the other guests. It is fully alarmed, air-conditioning and under floor heating in all rooms, TV, DSTV upon request, CD player, video player, large solar heated pool, double garage, beautiful gardens in a fully walled property. The two bedrooms are decorated in luxurious fixtures and fittings; the main is king-size bed with private patio, full luxury bathroom with heated towel rail, walk in wardrobe, safe and TV. The second bedroom is queen size beds with adjacent bathroom both have air-conditioning and under floor heating. |
