Great setting
We stopped over at Thaba Metsi en route to the Tuli block in Botswana and had a most enjoyable stay. The setting is great and the facilities fine and we had a lovely evening in Haenertsburg. Definitely a place to go back to

A great place to wind down! We didn't utilise any activities, but enjoyed the beautiful surrounds and quiet atmosphere. The accommodation was cosy and tidy and supplied in our needs, while the price was right.
Be sure to visit the Iron Crown Pub & Grill in town for a bit of local experience!

Was very good and relaxing..
The chalet was very cosy and tidy. There were plenty blankets supplied for the cold nights and best of all was the free fire wood supplied everyday.. had an awesome time..

Description
Thaba-Metsi Adventures is situated in Magoebaskloof on Silver Mist Estate near Haenertsburg, 60kms from Polokwane and 40kms from Tzaneen. The self-catering chalets of different sizes are nestled in the mountains overlooking three well stocked trout dams for fly-fishing. There is a tented camp with five tents on decks overlooking one of the dams or bring your own tents. The farm is enclosed by a game fence with a variety of game. There are 20 stables with American style ranch paddocks and a petting zoo. The farm offers conferencing facilities, a tea garden and all Thaba-Metsi Adventure's activities. We are ideally located for a stop over en-route to the Kruger Park or for a family holiday or a corporate teambuilding getaway. Experience quad biking, enjoy tubing and kloofing down white water rapids, abseiling into the breathtaking gorge, paintball, river and dam fly fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking or birding or 4x4. Whether you're in it for the personal experience or taking on the challenge as part of a team, visiting Thaba-Metsi will not only leave you feeling refreshed, but rejuvenated and ready to take on any challenge!
