Situated 4 hours from Johannesburg, it is 50 metres from the Kruger Park fence, giving you all the advantages of views, yet being set back from roads, it is still private.
With no fences in Marloth Park, animals roam freely and will come to within metres of where you are relaxing on the stoep. A walk at any time of the day along the Kruger fence will afford you the sight of lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and many other animals browsing in the grasses and reeds of the Crocodile river. Your challenge is to spot them.
You may also select to sit still at the house or in a shady spot along the river and count how many of the more than 300 known local bird species you can add to your list.
At night you may listen to the nearby rumbling of elephants communicating, or the roar of a lion telling everybody who’s the king, or the nervous laugh of a hyena, or the snorting of hippos in the pools in front of the house.
The house comprises:

- Main en suite bedroom with double bed, ample wardrobe space and bedside tables
- Second downstairs bedroom with two single beds, ample wardrobe space and bedside tables

- Two upstairs open bedrooms with dressing screens and sets of drawers, 2 beds each (total 8 for the house)
- Wide downstairs stoep with built in splash pool
- Upstairs veranda with direct view on the Kruger Park.
