Two fantastic days spent at Stone Breaker. The rooms are equipped with all necessities a traveler can expect! The hosts are friendly & welcoming and were willing meet our needs. The style of the lodges are perfectly set into their surroundings. One day spent relaxing and one day spent visiting the local attractions - it was delightful! Would definitely recommend ! ! !

We really enjoyed our stay at Stonebreaker; lovely views, relaxing and peaceful. Situated very conveniently on the road to the Cango Caves, Ostrich farm and the Swartbergpass.

Welcome to Stone Breaker Country Lodge in the picturesque Schoemanspoort, 15 km from Oudtshoorn on the main road (R328) to the world famous Cango Caves. Stone Breaker Country Lodge is centrally located in respect of all tourist attractions such as the Cango Ostrich Farm (4 km), Cango Wildlife Ranch (12 km), Swartberg Pass (18 km), Rust-en-Vrede Waterfall (16 km). The thatched Lodge is fitted with modern conveniences and contains a sparkling swimming pool with unspoilt views on the surrounding mountains. An half hour walk on the registered succulent trail, will work up your appetite for a hearty traditional farm-style breakfast or dinner. The Lodge has an African ambience to make you really feel at home.
Guests are accommodated in a modern thatched chalet with 12 luxurious big en suite rooms.
Privacy is ensured - the complex is 30 meters away from the main complex,and has a covered porch with uninterrupted views of the majestic Poort.
