We offer very well equipped self-catering holiday accommodation located in the renowned little town of St Lucia (entrance to the World Heritage Site, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park). This establishment is in the main street on the embankment of the Estuary/Lake side, away from the town buzz but close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. Units are set in a tranquil garden with large trees and lots of plants. The swimming pool is on the lake side with a big garden towards the water where you can relax on the wooden lounge chairs or enjoy the sun. The units do not have a view of the lake but there is a communal path leading to the pool and lake. The garden attracts an abundance of birds and are regularly visited by Red Duiker, Bushbuck, Banded mongoose, Tree squirrels, Vervet monkeys and Thick-tailed Bush babies to name a few. Hippo also come graze at night sometimes on the lake side. Enjoy sundowners while you watch the magnificent sun sets over the lake from the garden.

St Lucia Wilds is privately owned and the owner family also lives on the property. Our standard no-nonsense units are neat, clean and comfortable. The apartment units are face brick buildings with high pine ceilings, ground floor with one joined wall between each unit. Each unit has semi-private garden area with braai and garden furniture, surrounded by plants under trees. All opening windows and doors have insect gause protection. DStv channels are M-Net, Movie 1 and 2, all sports channels, all SABC and e-TV. We provide bath towels, kitchen towel and swab, braai grids. On premises we have an undercover carport, small child tree house with slide, “fish” cleaning sink facility, swimming pool and offer a once daily cleaning service (incl. Dishwasher).

Our units are suited to single travellers to families up to six persons per unit. This location is perfect for birders, nature’s lovers and serious Eco-tourists and enthusiasts. Form here you can visit other reserves and town activities within 1 hours drive. St Lucia offers many walking trails, no guide required, around town. We offer lots of info on activities and this beautiful area. Low season rate - per person per night, minimum stay two nights, min rate applies. High season (all school holidays and long weekends) rate - per unit per night. Regret the following will not be allowed here: fireworks/crackers of any kind, quad bikes, roller-skates, skateboards, your pets, plastic wheel trikes/bikes and other noisy toys.
