The area is renowned for its abundance of lobster in summer, and whale watching in winter.

•Visit a breeding colony of endangered African penguins at Stony Point – 1 km
•Betty’s Bay offers a good bird watching experience. The coastal vegetation supports a large variety of birds like falcons, black eagles, fish eagles etc.
•Spectacular whale watching opportunities is to be found on the coastal road from Gordon’s Bay to Betty’s Bay
•Enjoy sand boarding on the giant Blesberg dune – 2 km
•Surf at Kogel Bay with its long lines of surf or at the Silversands beach itself
•Angle from the rocks, the beach or from a boat for Galjoen,White Steenbras, Geelbek, etc.
