Description
Shisa lies in the picturesque Tulbagh valley, 80 minutes from Cape Town. Where men can relax in complete privacy. Ample sunshine, the expanse of the veld, mountain views, the bird life and the starry skies are accentuated by the unique South African "farm style" architecture and decor which has been described as "African Zen Chic".The buildings blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape and include 4 standard en-suite rooms with mountain views, private patios and queen size beds with crisp white linen. The “Champagne Suite” features a large bath, shower, private garden and a lounge with a fire place. This room has coffee / tea facilities and a fridge which is stocked daily with champagne and snacks. The swimming pool, tanning deck, seating areas with beautiful views, picnic spots at the river, fully-licensed bar and the lounge/dining area with a fireplace, all add to the enjoyment at Shisa. A short walking trail takes one through the Eucalyptus forest and along the river.Meals are served in the dining room, on the veranda or under the vine-covered pergola. Come and sip a glass of wine or local bubbly while staring out over the valley. Day visitors are welcome by prior arrangement.
