Great time at the Royal Hotel.
The accommodation was comfortable; the staff friendly;the historic photos interesting and the best steak I have ever had was the Ladysmith steak. We found heaps to see in surrounding areas, Rorke's Drift , Blood River etc.

Royal Hotel Ladysmith
After having a car accident the manager of the hotel took us to hospital and stayed with us for 3 hours while we got checked out. He insisted that he stayed until he knew we were OK. The staff had the same attitude and made our stay very comfortable and made us feel at home.
