Plover Cottage caters for the overnight traveler and those visiting Bloemfontein who prefers the peace and quite of the country to the noisy city. We are not involved with conferencing and guarantee no loud business parties.
Plover Cottage B&B elegant thatched cottages/units situated in the Bloemfontein countryside. There are four units available for guests with some sleeping two people while the other two caters for the families.
The cottages are furnished with antique and collectable furniture with heaters and extra blankets in each room for the cool winter nights. All the units offer cooking facilities for those who prefer cooking for themselves. Continental breakfasts are available with dinners on request.
We offer tasty home-cooked dinners which are prepared by our host. Prices vary between R45 and R60 per head depending on menu and consist of a main course and dessert. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans and diabetics.
The Glen area of Bloemfontein is steeped in history and offers interesting walks and crystal clear night skies. There is a 9 hole golf course nearby and the Modder River and neighboring farms provide a true country setting with calming night sounds.
