A bit about this place

Sue and Ian Pile, look forward to welcoming you to our quaint B&B. We offer 4 cozy and comfortable bedrooms, all ensuite, of which two are family rooms. Another is perfectly positioned on the ground floor for the less able. Pile-Inn is probably the oldest house in Underberg, offering all the charm and hospitality, you would expect from a larger establishment. Underberg is a small village, with golfing, hiking, horse out rides and river activities to offer which we can arrange for you, before your arrival. Relax on our patio, with a sundowner, watching the sun birds taking their last drink. In Winter, the log fire is lit in the guest lounge, for your added comfort, making your stay with us that much more cozy. A trip to Underberg would not be complete without a day trip to Lesotho, via Sani Pass (Passports essential), eating lunch in the highest pub in Southern Africa, with our local tour guide. Please let us book this for you. Pile-Inn caters for all our guests needs….we offer delicious packed lunches for our guests to enjoy a picnic at various local beauty spots, where you sit and relax, soaking in the breathtaking Southern Drakensberg scenery. Underberg also offers beautiful Kenmo Lake, where you can go for a gentle stroll through the shady trees with nothing to worry about, other than hoping that your return drinks are cold! When you sadly have to leave us for your next destination, you will feel that you were truly spoilt, and had a holiday at Pile-Inn you will never forget.
