Memorable stay!
Sue & Ian are the most welcoming, friendly, honest and wonderful hosts that made us feel right at home after a long drive. They gave us loads of local info and maps that we could ponder over that night. The following morning, after a full English breakfast and all the info, we quickly packed and headed out to Sani Pass. At the top of Sani, I switched my phone on to a message from Sue that let us know we had left a ski jacket in the cupboard...and to ask how the drive was. How many ... more

Description
Sue and Ian Pile, look forward to welcoming you to our quaint B&B. Pile-Inn B&B recently attained Semi Finalist with the AA Travel Guides, based purely on guest comments! We offer 4 cozy and comfortable bedrooms, all en suite, of which two are family rooms. Another is perfectly positioned on the ground floor for the less able. Pile-Inn is probably the oldest house in Underberg, offering all the charm and hospitality, you would expect from a larger establishment. Your guest lounge is for Pile-Inn guests, where you can swap stories of your holiday with others. Your hosts, Ian and Sue Pile live in a flatlet connected to the B&B, to ensure guest’s privacy. Underberg is a small village, with golfing, hiking, horse out rides and river activities to offer which we can arrange for you, before your arrival. Relax on our patio, with a sundowner, watching the sun birds taking their last drink. In Winter, the log fire is lit in the guest lounge, for your added comfort, making your stay with us that much more cozy. A trip to Underberg would not be complete without a day trip to Lesotho, via Sani Pass (Passports essential), eating lunch in the highest pub in Southern Africa, with our local tour guide. Please let us book this for you. Underberg also offers beautiful Kenmo Lake, where you can go for a gentle stroll through the shady trees with nothing to worry about, other than hoping that your return drinks are cold! When you sadly have to leave us for your next destination, you will feel that you were truly spoilt, and had a holiday at Pile-Inn you will never forget.
