Paradise Lodge,02 July 2006
We had the opportunity of staying just one night. Richard & Marilyn are a lovely couple who welcomed us personally and did their very best to ensure our stay was a comfortable one, including waking up early to make sure their gates were open to let us out as we had to leave very early in the morning. I had a fantastic holiday at Paradise lodge. The place is quite and very clean. The host were very much helpful and always there when needed. I was also given extra facilities to use with no additional charge. I will definitely visit the place again

Description
Accommodation on the world famous Nyl Flood Plain renowned for its important habitat for birdlife. Bird paradise on the way to Kruger
Paradise Lodge is conveniently situated as a stopover on the way to or from the Kruger Park (Phalaborwa & Punda Gates). The Lodge is an ideal base to visit the Nylsvlei Nature Reserve and the Doorndraai Dam, both nature reserves run by the Regional Parks board. The Makapan Valley (a world heritage site), a Crocodile farm and San Rock art are all in the vicinity. The area also offers a golf course and horse riding.
The Lodge is located within easy access on a tar road from Naboomspruit, which is on the edge of the Waterberg Mountains.
Spacious chalets set in the beautiful gardens of the lodge offer facilities for those who want either self-catering or bed and breakfast. All chalets boast a fully equipped kitchen, with fridge and cooker and all the necessary implements. They all have colour televisions, comfortable sofas as well as complimentary tea and coffee. Some chalets have own spacious stoop with built in Braai's (BBQ's)
Relax at the lapa overlooking the pool and a small dam where birds and game drink. The pool is heated via solar panels and can be used all year round.
Spend your evening in the boma for braais around a log fire. Or enjoy a meal in our restaurant serving meals that are pre booked.
Breakfast is an extra R30 per person

| The Jacaranda chalet offers a double bed, and 2 single beds in a seperate bedroom and is available for two to four people. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. A fully equipped kitchen, with complimentary tea and coffee, dining area and comfortable seating with colour television gives the feeling of home away from home. |
