Description
Orchards is set on Odessa, a working fruit, olive and wine grape farm in the picturesque valley of Tulbagh with its majestic mountains (snow-capped in winter), enchanting vineyards, fruit orchards and olive groves. The farm is situated approx 6km from the historic town of Tulbagh with its many restaurants and art galleries.This recently restored guest house has all the comforts of home, coupled with views that are out of this world!
The house is rented out on a self catering basis and has 3 spacious double, en-suite bedrooms which open onto a reed covered veranda which has beautiful views of the surrounding orchards, mountains, spectacular sunsets and the tranquillity of the countryside. The main bedroom boasts a queen sized brass bed and a fireplace for chilly winter days. Room 2 has 4 single beds and room 1 has a queen bed and bunk beds for children. The living area is open plan and has a fully equipped "industrial style" kitchen (also used as a cooking school) with a separate scullery containing a dishwasher. The spacious lounge is comfortably furnished and has a fireplace and a TV with satelite (bring your own smartcard) There are French doors onto the terrace which has a built in braai. The house is fully equipped with linen, towels, crockery and cutlery.The ever changing Mountains form the backdrop to this picturesque farm. This is a perfect retreat, a place where the "Absolute Peace" will restore weary souls, and the only sounds are bird songs and the cry of the fish eagle.

Orchards is a self catering house that sleeps six comfortably (or 10 at a push), and features all the home comforts. The three double en-suite bedrooms - room1 has a queen and a bunk bed, room 2 four singles, and room 3 a queen - open onto a reed covered veranda overlooking the surrounding orchards, mountains, gorgeous sunsets and tranquil countryside. The living area is open-plan, with a fully equipped industrial-style kitchen (which serves active duty for the cooking school) and a separate scullery with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. There is a comfortable dining area and the spacious lounge features a fireplace and telly with DSTV (birng own card). French doors lead out onto the terrace with a built-in braai and boma. The house is fully equipped with linen, towels, crockery and cutlery.
