Orange Valley Guest Farm

A comfortable stop after a long drive. Beautiful scenery, cold beers in the fridge and a lovely pool to relax in. Excellent evening meal. Will definitely stay there again.

They provided us with one 2 bed cottage when we had book for two couples. So we had to share one cottage because they were fully booked - not impressive. on top of that, the owner had an attitude about it and told us to then go find accomodation elsewhere cause there is nothing he can do. i would not go back there again.

Thank you Bruce and staff! We had a lovely and comfortable stay. The atmosphere was homey and welcome. Our compliments to the chef (thumbs up) for the lovely dinner. We would love to stay over again.

Lady receiving us was vriendly and she helped me with laundry that I needed to do because of a sick kid. Our room however was not so great. The aircon remote wAs lost and we could not use it as a result. The room and kitchenette was dirty and mosquitos that was hit by previous resedence all over the doors. At the front door a UGE wasp nest, kids could not play safely. The food was nice and swimming pool good. Last thought to Orange valley. When guests pay the balance at 9pm. Maybe put a outdoor light on, or even just a light inside the office would do. Your computer screen is simply not enough! Would not return!

We stayed over at Orange Valley Guest farm at the beginning and end of our trip. We were not disappointed once. This is such a peaceful stopover - add a home cooked meal to that after a day on the road and you almost don't want to leave. Queenie is an excellent host and I would definitely visit again.
