Old Rearsby is set on a lovely open property that gives a sense of old country farm and as such it is perfect for taking dogs. The cottages are exceptionally clean, well appointed and very comfortable with high quality furnishings. There are a few omissions however. For an advertised self catering cottage there was a distinct lack of basic utensils (notably a tin opener, fire poker, sharp knives, cheese grater).
