Rehoboth lies on an elevation of 4544 Feet (1 385m) of which the physiography is characterized by rugged, stony hills, mountainous areas and sand-filled valleys. The dam has been erected within this setting and makes it the highest dam wall in Namibia with 58 m. A magnitude of fish, birds and antelopes finds a safe haven in this surrounding.
