Madi a Thavha, meaning “water from the mountains”, is set in a beautiful, quiet valley of the lush Soutpansberg mountains of Limpopo, only 10 km from Louis Trichardt.

You can buy from the beautiful Venda linen collection, made by Madi a Thavha Design, a small business that works from the farm.
At the same time you support the development of the people in the local communities.

Madi a Thavha provides a wide range of services: bed and breakfast, full boarding and self catering for up to 17 people.
The guest rooms and guest houses with self catering facilities are located in or around the original farm house. The farm house includes a lounge and dining area, reception, craft shop, verandahs and a refreshing swimming pool and garden. Everything is tastefully decorated with Venda and Shangaan arts and crafts.
Activities
You can share the colorful Venda and Shangaan culture and their arts and crafts with people in the surrounding villages by joining on of the tour programs. The lodge is situated on a lively farm where you can visit the cucumber growing tunnels and the farming land with various crops. Relax at the swimming pool after a walk in the mountains and enjoy the farm dinner on the veranda of the farm house. The warm hospitality contributes to a colorful and unforgettable experience.
