Although we never spent a lot of time in the unit, it was very comfortable and the staff were accommodating. Dinner in the restaurant was superb.

The climate at Misty Mountain is moderate. Summer days are warm with daytime temperatures averaging around 25 degrees Celsius. Winter days are mild with temperatures around 18 degrees Celsius. Throughout the year, the temperature drops in the evenings and winter nights can be cold and crisp. Because Misty Mountain sits in the mist belt, a higher than average annual rainfall of 1500 mm is experienced and this rainfall occurs predominantly in the summer months.
Misty Mountain is a relaxed, informal owner managed establishment. Our chalets are geared for couples or families, our tariffs include bed and breakfast but, for lunches and dinners, guests can self cater or enjoy good country cooking in our restaurant. On a summer’s day, lounge around in the sun on our fabulous pool deck. On a winter’s evening, huddle around the log fires and enjoy the warm hospitality of Misty Mountain. Misty Mountain has a total of 27 chalet units offering comfortable, country style accommodation with easy access to the restaurant and all other facilities.
