Description

Masescha means "hidden". The experience of Masescha Country Estate is peace, quiet and tranquility. Guests are assured of a relaxing and restful stay where they can enjoy the delightful environment in well equipped facilities. We are situated 15 minutes from Knysna and 10 minutes from Plettenberg Bay.

Our country retreat is located in the heart of the Garden Route and within close proximity to all of the many tourist attractions in the Garden Route area. It lies on 12 hectares of land, part of which is taken up by a large indigenous forest with a stream and fynbos. The property has lawns and gardens with seven dams, a large year-round heated swimming pool, a forest walk and a large variety of bird life which will keep any enthusiast content. Enjoy a majestic forest backdrop and a scenic delight suitable for family's or couples looking for a restful and rejuvenating break.

One of the bathrooms are en-suite and includes a bath. The fully fitted kitchen provides all crockery, cutlery, pots, a gas oven, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided. The living room has DStv, an open fireplace, books and board games. There is a large, partially covered terrace with a built-in braai and room heaters are fitted.

Masescha Country Estate is really a beautiful, tranquil and very quiet place. The house was very comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed the outside living area very much, sitting under the pergola and eating our breakfast. Thank you!
