We are a favourite destination for people with young families. Hidden in our quiet valley, traffic is not a problem, and the subtropical bush surrounds the whole resort creating a secluded adventure playground. We have a dedicated area for children to play, from a sandpit for the toddlers, and of course with the swings, jungle gym and trampoline. This is a great place for meeting other kids in the resort. Everything is so centrally located that it's easy for Mom and Dad to keep an eye on their family.

Marlon Holiday Resort facilities: A kiddies and adult swimming pool. Kiddies’ trampoline. Well-landscaped kiddies play area with jungle gym. Large games room with TV coin operated pool table and table tennis and video games. TV and second channel video points to all sites, with M-Net available, bring your own decoder. Large communal lapa with braai and spit-braai/dry pub. 1,5 meter skateboarding and half pipe. In addition to the children’s area and the recreation room and swimming pool, we try to provide amusement for guests of all ages in season.

We have a selection of quality self-catering accommodation. Ranging from a bedsitter to a fully fitted two bedroom cottage. We offer the ideal weekend getaway at prices to suit your pocket.

A Log Cabin consists of one bedroom with two sleeper couches in the lounge. It is fully self contained with its own bathroom and patio.

The Bedsitter is a single room with stove, fridge, double sleeper couch and a bunk bed. It is fully contained, but you will need to use the ablution facilities. The ablution block is a few meters from the bedsitter.

This quality two bedroom brick cottage has everything and more, it sleep five to seven people. It is fully contained.

Marlon self-catering accommodation is surrounded by the abundant natural beauty of the subtropical trees and ferns. Marlon self catering accommodation is something truly special as it nestles in a sheltered valley on the banks of the Damba River. This beautiful river flows gently down to a beautiful sandy beach within easy reach of the self catering accommodation, where the warm, shark-protected surf and tidal pool makes for excellent fishing and swimming.
