Halfway between Gauteng and Cape Town on the N1.

Marina's Guest House offers an ideal stopover at a cosy log fire and modern ensuite rooms. Dinner bed and Breakfast in the heart of the Karoo. Venison pie frequently on the menu. Lock up facilities. TV in rooms. Away from the noise of the N1.

Across the road, Marina's Guest House offers the Annex - ensuite rooms, with communal kitchen facilities. Guests are welcome to self cater. Break that long journey and come and relax in true karoo hospitality.

Having stayed previously we were only to happy to use Marina's again on our way to Capetown. Vilma's welcome is engaging and the rooms are neat and comfortable. You will not be hungry as they serve up a substantial dinner (if required) and breakfast.

After eight hours of driving, Marina's Guest House was well worth stopping for. We enjoyed our night there very much. The room was very comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome. If they offer you the option to have Karoo Lamb for dinner, take it. It was delicious and exceptional value for money.
