Margate Place Guest House is a stone’s throw from the beach and all beachfront amenities.We cater for business executives, tourists and holiday makers and offer different accommodation options for families. As one of the oldest and most well known guest houses in Summerstrand (beachfront), our high occupancy rate is proof of our success. Due to our excellent personal and friendly service, we were voted the most tourist friendly guest house in P.E.
Location: We are situated in a quiet street, very close to the beach and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Boardwalk Casino complex. We are on the main bus route, close to the airport, McArthur swimming pools, Bay world oceanarium and the university and a true links golf course on our doorstep. Well known malaria free game reserves within one hour’s drive from us.
Features: Each non-smoking en-suite guest unit is stylishly decorated with its own private barbeque court yard, kitchenette, telephone, Wi-Fi, DSTV and private entrance. Our entertainment area offers a swimming pool and cosy pub (by arrangement). Off street lock up parking with CCTV.
Services: A full buffet breakfast is served in our breakfast room. Guest units are serviced daily. We also offer a laundry service and fax facility. Whatever your reason for being in Port Elizabeth, we at Margate Place will do our best to make your visit a memorable one!
