We stayed in Pear Tree cottage and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and the views were great. I would recommend this for any couples looking for some private peace and quiet.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the lakeside cottages. The view of the Franschoek valley from our balcony was amazing, the surroundings beautiful and peaceful and the cottage comfortable and beautifully decorated. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed the setting, the pleasant comfort of the lodge and the hospitality of the staff. It all added to a very relaxing weekend. The surroundings are beautiful.

We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our stay - good value for money. The babysitting service was a little expensive we thought - at R50 an hour. Nevertheless the babysitters were lovely, kind and energetic and did a good job! We would love to go back and enjoy some hiking in the area another time.
