Lalapanzi Hotel is situated on the N1 in the Bandelierkop area. Beautiful old tudor style English Hotel. Horse trails and game viewing on horse back or game driving vehicle. Wake up to the sound of joyful birds singing. Eight DStv channels in the rooms, Restaurant, Bull and Bush ladies Bar or horse & Cart Sport Bar.
We do skirmishes Tours in the area and opened the Skirmishes Museum on 23 April 2005. Visit Lovedale Park, Sweetwaters Hotel, battle of Vliegenpan and see the bust of Genl Beyers, who now is back in the Soutpansberg.
We have a proper hall with Chandeliers and an indoor braai area. Seat 250 people theatre style and 180 at tables. Ideal for conferences and weddings. We offer our customers free Wi-Fi internet services.
Skirmishes route after the book Bushveld Carbineers of 1895- 1910 can be done - day route. British, German, Australian and Boer War involvement. See the beautiful African villages and scenery of Elim area, where the Swiss built Lemana School, Swiss Hospital.
Game drive vehicle, minimum four, maximum eight people horse riding and trekking available and bird watching possible. Horse drawn cart for game viewing. Walking trails on the large grounds, very interesting wildlife to be seen.
There are Caravan and Camping facilities with power units available and a secluded Bush Boma for private functions and ream building.

Full time chefs ensure a perfect restaurant with local venison and delicacies on the menu.
Wedding Venues:
Garden weddings are possible, with a marquee area for up to 550 people. Our Chandelier Hall caters for 180 guests and beautiful chandeliers and draping add to the romance.
Business Traveller:
Access to WiFi, photocopier, secretarial services, and fax. Conference facilities include screen, data projector, white board, flip chart, and break away rooms.
Conference venue:
A newly built 200 seater conference hall has just been added, with a smaller venue seating 45 people. The fully air-conditioned venue offers secretarial services, fax, data projector, white board, flip chart and WiFi Internet access.
Pets Permitted:
Stable your horses here for a night or two. Small pets welcome and our dogs are friendly.
Working Holidays:
Horses and cattle can be looked after. Volunteers can be part of our business.

We have stayed at Lalapanzi many times over the years on our way to and from Zimbabwe and we have always been so impressed. It is friendly, clean, the food excellent and the staff accomodating, all of this and very reasonable rates to top it off. We highly recommend this establishment.

We enjoyed the ambience in this warm hotel and found the staff very friendly and one particular waitress very helpful. The restaurant service was unfortunately very slow and the pubs both pubs took preference for the restaurant service which we did not understand. The room was more than adequate.

Really enjoyed the short stay. One of the waiters took exceptional trouble to get a dessert for my wife as the kitchen had run out of the published item. She pressured the chef and a slightly improvised portion was served and enjoyed. All the staff were very friendly and in particular the exchange student and the front desk staff. One complaint is that we were not forewarned about the lack of card payment facilities and this can lead to embarasment to clients as the trend is not to car ...
