Lake St Lucia Lodge is situated in St Lucia South Africa a World Heritage Site overlooking Lake St. Lucia with spectacular sunsets. Accommodation on the banks of Lake St Lucia with abundant birdlife, tranquil and private braai facilities. Lake St. Lucia Lodge offers 2 four sleeper cottages and 1 two sleeper unit. Self-catering units fully equipped, very reasonably priced and serviced daily. We assist in all tours (specializing in fishing excursions) and information regarding your visit to the famous Greater St Lucia Wetland Park. Shops, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance as well as a public pleasure resort with super tube 2 minutes away.

Stayed 4 days at Lake St Lucia Lodge and felt at home. Had everything we needed for selfcatering. Rondawel has good shape for 2 people, but bathroom is very small. Unfortunately the hippos didn't visit us.

Our stay was magnificent, on our first night the hippo's came wondering by as close as 5 metres. The site has a very non-commercial feel, which compliments the whole St Lucia atmosphere, and makes it a great getaway from the city.

Had numerous long chats with the owner, Andre, who was very helpful and informative about the locality. Also lucky enough to witness the hippos that trail through his garden most evenings on their way to graze in St. Lucia. Once in a lifetime experience!

The unit was very basic, but adequate. But the environment was amazing! We had hippos wandering thru' the garden, and bushbabies in the trees. There were also mongeese, red duiker and a large number of birds in the garden. A wonderful experience.
