Lacazecreole

We had a very enjoyable stay at Lacazecreole. The house is in a street overlooking sugar cane and vulcanic rocks in a residential area. The house is not too close to the beach. We walked for the first 3 days then decided to rather take taxi's. The taxi will cost you 100 rupees per trip to the beach (one way). Belle Mare has beautiful beaches and great for snorkeling. It is a small fishing village. So fresh fish is always available. Il Aux Surfs island is close by. It is nice to go there by catamaran and eat lobsters etc. The house has everything you need. Rather make payment upfront and not when you get there as the cash rate we were charged differs from the actual exchange rate. The house is clean and there is a washing machine, fridge etc so it is ideal for self catering. There is a local restuarant up the road which also serves very good local food.
