Enjoyable
Stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Made the experience very enjoyable and comfortable. One of the downsides of this place, is that the road to the lodge itself, which is 8km, is a dirt road and is probably not suitable for cars.
Quite convenient to the park main entrance. Food was also good.

Fantastic
From the moment of arrival, we were embraced with friendship, as if we were long lost friends. Alan and Sheree were superb hosts, and made sure we were comfortable. The food was of the highest standards!! Thank you Tomas the Chef. We definitely will be returning, and spreading the word of a small slice of paradise in this country.

Description
2 luxury tents & 5 private, totally separate, spacious thatched chalets, 2 of which are also complete self-catering units. All accommodation units have an en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan, mosquito net, mini bar and a private patio where guests can view the abundant species of game, including four of the BIG FIVE drinking at the waterhole or at the river. The chalets have air-conditioning, shower facility only, and can comfortably sleep a family of four. An extra bed can be added for a 3rd child. Each tent has a separate bath and shower and comfortably sleeps 4 persons. We regret that there is no air-conditioning in the tents. Unwind during the heat of the day around the sparkling pool and later enjoy a cold sundowner on the lodges patio, boma area or at the cosy well stocked bar. There is a TV with full DSTV situated in the bar area. The restaurant has a lovely light wooden and bush appearance, where all meals including a Full Hot & Cold Breakfast and 3 Course Dinner (Starters, Main Course and Dessert) are served each day/night. A new boma area has just been completed where outdoor dining under the stars can be enjoyed as well as a relaxing evening sitting around the large fire pit. By prior arrangements at breakfast we are happy to provide a Picnic Basket or a Light Lunch in the restaurant or around the pool. Early morning and evening game drives with a ranger will reveal the wonders of the bush and enthusiastic ornithologists can view over 300 species of birds including the shy Purple Crested Lourie, the fierce and majestic Bateleur, to the rare Pels Fishing Owl. Golf enthusiasts can unwind on one of the picturesque courses within easy driving distance from Kulungi and a must would be at the renowned Hans Merensky Golf Course where it is common to see elephant, giraffe, warthogs, baboons and a variety of antelope crossing the rolling fairways. Other popular attractions in the area are the Amarula Lapa, Jumbo River Safaris, Masorini Iron Works, Khamai Reptile Park, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and the Cheetah Research Centre.
