Luxury living with all the home comforts
Krakatoa Beach House is easily the loveliest holiday home we've stayed in, the pictures simply do not do it justice. Never having been to Westbrook Beach before we were unsure what to expect, but just as the description says it is a lovely quiet seaside suburb, close enough to Balito should you want the bustling shops, but with its own lovely beaches just a minute's walk away. Seaviews are excellent
We had a great week in a house that was all that it was described as on the website (sometimes pictures can be misleading).
The seaviews are excellent and Westbrook beach was very good (definitely better than Ballito) and not too far from the house.
As mentioned in other guest's comments, Petrus is the "cherry on the top".

We had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Krakatoa Beach House. The accommodation is absolutely stunning and definitely worth the experience!

Description
Nestled in a quite road in a pristine corner of Westbrook beach is this newly built luxury beach home with breath-taking sea views that extend from Ballito in the north to Durban in the south. Completed in June 2004, the home has 4 bedrooms with ceiling fans (one has air con unit) all have ensuite bathrooms, expansive balconies, and a double garage. The beach (one of the few "Blue Flag" beaches in KwaZulu north coast) is literally a stone's throw away, however since the house is situated on a cul-de-sac some 500m away from the main bathing beach, you have the luxury of choice between tranquil beach seclusion and protected bathing.
