Description

Maputaland Bush Camp is a small intimate lodge. We accommodate 10 people or 14 if sharing in bush style chalets. Each huts have an on suite shower and bush toilet.
We serve excellent home cooked meals (European breakfasts, lunches and dinners) served in the main house or a picnic lunch when on a day excursions / activities.
We have stables with horses on site. We tried to preserve the bush experience. Solar panels provide enough lights at night. When essential a generator can supply a few hours of electricity per day.

o Beach Trips
o Turtle Tours - Giant sea turtles lay their eggs on our beaches. Unforgettable!
o Tembe Elephant Park
o Go out with a boat to sea - dolphins, whale-watching and snorkeling on reefs
o SCUBA - qualified divers only
o Horse Riding – Short and long trails
o Cultural Activities (visit to local Tonga and Zulu houses)
o Canoe on the Siyadla river.
RECOMMENDED STAY is 5 days in which you will have an astonishing variety of activities to do.

Great breakaway
Rudolf van Wyk, South Africa
06 January 2012
We spent an awesome five days and did not want to leave at the end of our stay. The beaches in the area are the best beaches in SA and the lodge is very pleasant and quiet. The turtle tour was unbelievable! We will definitely go back!

We, a group of 10 people, stayed overnight and was pleasantly surprised with the service we experienced. The personnel had a can-do attitude and no task was impossible. We will definitely visit them again next year!
Incredible experience

Thank you so much for this incredible experience. We really enjoyed every little thing of our few days there. The hippos, the whales and, of course, your kindness. We will never forget it.
A little paradise in the sand dunes of Maputoland
Peter Murless, South Africa

We had a good time and enjoyable company with Isabel and Will. Excellent meals and a lovely canoe trip. We went to Tembe elephant park ourselves and had lovely experiences. Next time we should try the horses.
