Description

The thatched lodge is an exquisite oasis in harmony with the natural surroundings of indigenous Bushveld.

The interior of the entire lodge is characterised by quality hand- and purpose-made rosewood and teak furniture.

An aura of warmth and elegance pervades the comfortable lounge with kudu leather couches, ostrich egg chandeliers and a fireplace to provide the perfect atmosphere for cool winter evenings.

At night gemsbuck horn lamps will lead you in the dark – all adding to the unique atmosphere and experience.

The six luxurious en-suite double rooms are tastefully furnished in an Africa décor style with bamboo and porcupine quill lampshades.

You can be assured of a good night’s sleep with the high quality linen and mattresses provided in these rooms.

Most rooms have a door exiting on the game viewing deck, from where a variety of antelope species can be observed at the nearby waterhole.

Fuel your body for the exciting day that lies ahead with a breath-taking breakfast as the sun rises over the African Bushveld.

Enjoy lunch on the upper sundeck veranda whilst watching eland, zebra, gemsbuck, kudu and other game at the nearby waterhole.

Evening bush “braais” in the lapa provide a unique African dining experience under the stars. You will be introduced to various exquisite versions of venison.

Game drives and bush walks are part of the leisure and wildlife experience at the lodge.

Explore the untamed bush in open-air vehicles where various species of antelope and other African mammals including giraffe, zebra, eland, gemsbuck, blue wildebeest, kudu, red hartebeest, impala and warthog, to name just a few, can be seen.

Bring along your camera, to capture some unforgettable moments.

A visit to the Nyala breeding facility is also highly recommended. Here you will have the opportunity to come within meters of these beautiful animals.

A variety of bird species can be spotted in the near vicinity of the Lodge including Kori Bustard, which is the largest flying bird in Africa.

Guests may also visit a site on the banks of the Limpopo river (Botswana border), only 15 km from the Lodge.

Enjoy the warmth of the African sun next to the tranquil pool or relax on the upper deck, from where you have a bird’s eye view on the nearby waterhole, where the different species of game visit to quench their thirst or just take a mud bath.

This is open-sky-country which offers excellent star-gazing conditions through out the year.
