I really enjoyed my stay in the Kidger House. It was my first experience with South Africa and a really good one. Very nice rooms with excellent bathroom, a breakfast with a wide range of food, great views from the garden and very friendly owners.

Kidger House is an elegant yet homely guesthouse featuring a cosy fireplace for winter warmth and atmosphere, Cape, Victorian and Regency furniture decorated in an appropriate style for this lovingly restored Cape Dutch style home.
Enjoy the formal lounge and dining areas or spend time on the patios overlooking the garden and swimming pool. Here you can relax listening to birdsong or watch scampering resident squirrels.
Conveniently situated for close-by Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens or for Newlands forest walks, it is also an ideal centrally positioned sanctuary from which to explore either Cape Town or the wider Cape Peninsular. The city, Table Mountain Cableway, Lions Head, the V&A Waterfront and Cape Town International Conference Centre are all within easy reach.
Brilliantly placed for visitors requiring UCT (University of Cape Town) or the Newlands RUGBY and CRICKET stadiums.

Trent Suite (1) | Rates Include : B & B |
| So named, because it honours the original name of and predecessors at the homestead – “Trent”.
Trent suite has two single beds. A lovely room situated within the main house on the lower level. The headboards and side pedestals are hand made from solid oak. This suite can easily be reduced to a single room or we can separate the single beds for unrelated travellers.
The bathroom and separate loo, for use by the occupants of the Trent suite is across the passageway, but truly magnificent, with marble tiles, huge double shower and Victorian style bath, double vanity basins, under-floor heating plus heated towel rail and large framed mirrors.
