Wonderful stay
We had the most wonderful stay at Khaya Romantica. Our European guests enjoyed every minute. Thanks to Louise and her husband for all their help with directions - we easily found the place, also to Louis, for his friendly welcome. The house was beautifully decorated and everything clean. The swimming pool was a blessing after the long drive, even the outside fireplace was set! We also enjoyed the unexpected warthogs and "duiker" the next morning.
Will definitely stay visit again.

In the beautiful unspoiled Marloth Park Conservancy bordering Southern Kruger where animals still roam free, you’ll find this very special romantic hide-away. Secluded and surrounded by the lush African Bushveld is a gem re-discovered. In their search for a smaller luxury lodge the owners of Khaya Umdani stumbled upon this very romantic house. They were instantly seduced by the privacy it has to offer. Consisting out of 2 very spacious bedrooms, each en suite (full bathrooms with shower, bath, toilet and basin) a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge, upstairs TV lounge with DSTV, outside lapa, beautiful swimming pool to relax in during the hot African summer months and a balcony with views over Kruger and the Crocodile River in the distance. Not even to mention the breath taking sunsets. All linen is of high standard, 100 % cotton white percale linen, soft white towels and swimming towels. We invite you to come and experience a part of Africa with it’s abundance of wildlife. Only 25km from Malelane Gate and 15km from Crocodile Bridge gate, makes this lodge the perfect base to discover Kruger National Park, Swaziland, Mozambique and all the other beauties of the surrounding areas.
