Kariba Bush Club is a unique guest house and camping destination along the idyllic shores of Lake Kariba. Put your fishing skills to the test by catching an infamous tiger fish, lounge in a poolside hammock whilst fish eagles swoop in the sky above, spot Zambia’s amazing wildlife on a canoe safari, or get scared out of your wits on a tour of one of Africa's largest Nile crocodile farms.

Kariba Bush Club was established in 2003 originally as a backpackers lodge and guest house able to accommodate 32 guests. As word of our secret location spread, we have grown extensively with the addition of another guest house, four en-suite Lake View Chalets and two houseboats; now being able to accommodate a maximum of 76 guests excluding the campsite. Our mainland campsite is situated under a large grassy canopy and our new island campsite provides an opportunity for a real bush experience - hippos, elephants and crocodiles included.

Guests can enjoy a fully stocked bar and a swimming pool with stunning views, a self-catering kitchen and braai facilities, as well as delicious homemade meals prepared by our cooks.

Wildlife around the lodge includes zebra, ostrich, impala, puku, bushbuck, warthog, duiker, hippo and our resident goat, Pongo. We at Kariba Bush Club welcome you all and guarantee that your stay will be nothing short of a pleasant and relaxing one.

The campsite is right on the dam and has lovely green lawn. The staff was also exceptionally helpful. The visit to the crocodile farm and the boat ride on the lake is not to be missed.
