Jozini Tiger Lodge and Spa is situated along the banks of the picturesque Jozini Dam in KwaZulu-Natal. Situated in the heart of the Kingdom of the Zulu with its rich heritage and untamed natural beauty, Tiger Lodge is an exciting holiday destination which offers a perfect luxury getaway. The hotel is incredibly positioned overlooking the Jozini Dam and is easily accessible from both Durban and Gauteng.

The lodge consists of 60 bedrooms accommodating up to 162 guests, with 36 Classic standard bedrooms and 21 Family Loft bedrooms. The rooms offer unsurpassed comfort and luxury with breathtaking views overlooking the picture perfect Lake Jozini. All rooms at the lodge are fully air-conditioned and are en-suite, with both bath and shower facilities. Other amenities include a tea and coffee station, safe, satellite television and a mini bar fridge which is stocked on request. Our well appointed Family Lofts also have an upstairs bedroom with twin beds to accommodate the family within the same bedroom.

Jozini Tiger lodge is a touch of class in the African bush. The ruggedness of the Lebombo range is completed by the lodge’s luxurious amenities, and the views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. The main lodge hosts an array of amenities including a top class restaurant, private lounge bar, conference and wedding facilities, a wellness centre, children's playroom, and gymnasium.

Jozini Tiger Lodge caters for large conferences and weddings which can accommodate up to 250 delegates or guests within the conference centre. Together with this, we also offer a boardroom and two other breakaway rooms all aptly named after the tribal families governing our local area. Weddings at Jozini Tiger Lodge are something special, with numerous options to make this a special occasion. These include open air ceremonies either in the bush, around the swimming pool, or on the sunset boat cruiser. Our beautiful surroundings with the lake as a backdrop makes an ideal venue to tie the knot.

We are located in a prime position in the heart of Zululand, surrounded by World Heritage sites as well as some of the most acclaimed nature reserves in the world. Some of the exciting locations available include the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, the Maputaland Marine Reserve, and many of the top game reserves in South Africa.

Lake Jozini in the Pongola Game Reserve is also the most southern lake where tiger-fish are endemic. Although widespread and still common in certain areas like the Pongola River, tiger-fish are declining in most rivers due to pollution, water extraction and obstructions like weirs and dams that prevent their passage up or downstream to suitable spawning sites along flooded river banks and lake shores. The tiger-fish is one of the most exciting freshwater game fish, and catching tiger-fish will have your adrenalin flowing. From the novice fisherman to the expert anglers fishing with a fly, Lake Jozini offers you the ideal location for unforgettable tiger-fishing, and the tournament in October draws anglers from around the world.
