Description

Tucked away deep in the Waterberg Mountains is a private retreat to be found known as Jobedi Game Reserve. A purposely well kept secret set in a vast landscape of rocky terrain blessed with lush vegetation and scenic vistas of breathtaking beauty which lends itself to an abundance of peace and tranquility.

Allow the sense of well being overwhelm you whilst indulging in the comfort of a cosy campfire, accompanied by the serenade of a Jackal howling in the distance and the song of a Nightjar close by.

Jobedi is situated outside of Vaalwater, Limpopo and a mere two and half hours drive from Johannesburg International Airport.

There are about 280 different trees, shrub and grass species, as well as moss and ferns. More than 260 species of birds have been identified, ranging from fish eagles to water birds and more than 28 species of game .

The self catering accommodation is fully equipped with linen, crockery, gas cooker and private boma areas. Jobedi offer 2,4,6,8 and 10 sleeper self catering accommodation.

Caravan and Camping Sites. R65 pppn All ages. Caravan and camping sites are available with ablution facilities. The ablution facilities consist of three blocks. One of these ablution blocks offers hot water while the other two offers cold water. Electricity points are available at the three ablution blocks. As Jobedi Game Reserve is the only game reserve in the area that offers guests, the freedom to explore the reserve with their own vehicles (certain conditions apply) its the ideal spot for e.g. Range Rover and Pajero owners to enjoy their vehicles and accompanying camping equipment. A fee of R80.00 per vehicle per day is charged to drive on the main roads and R180.00 per vehicle per day to drive the 4 x 4 trails.

This quaint cockeyed thatched house is situated near one of the riverstreams leading to our beautiful swimming hole. This unit is ideal for little ones as they cannot get off the verandah if screen door latched and is equally enjoyable for Granny and Grandpa to sit and relax watching the animals, while the family exert themselves around the reserve.

Wow! Amazing place, everything you need to relax. Just arrive with your clothes and your food. Beautiful secluded accommodation and wonderful hosts. The dams are beautiful and the reserve has interesting sites. PS My wallet fell behind a cupboard and was returned to me intact by the onsite cleaning staff. Awesome!

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing weekend at Jobede Game Reserve, however we must admit that for the size of the game reserve there is really not a lot of game on the farm? Do not know the reason but still had a good time. Will definitely be back for a getaway weekend in the future.
