Enjoy sumptuous breakfasts, served in the forested garden and watch the squirrels cavorting in the 100 year old oak trees.

The House at Pooh Corner is situated on a one acre forested estate with beautiful gardens and paths that meander along a river to secluded benches and picnic spots.
Nature lovers will enjoy the bird life, the roaming chickens, the squirrels and the award winning garden. The formal herb garden, the bonsai garden, secluded swimming pool and the garden sculptures all add to the charm of this idyllic getaway. Children are welcome at Pooh Corner. The forested garden is an adventure, with meandering paths, a tree house, jungle-gym, sandpit and swings.

The paths and bridges along the river in the magical private forest are a must to explore. Our Accommodation consists of three rooms:

Owl's House: Spacious self-catering cottage Homely cottage with French doors looking out at a tree framed view of Chapman's Peak Mountain. Bedroom with queen size bed, open-plan lounge with fully kitted kitchen, dining area, comfortable double sleeper couch, satellite TV and fireplace. A sunny deck with private barbeque overlooks the Silvermine mountain range.

Roo's Room: Charming two bedroom and breakfast suite. French doors opening onto the garden and sunny patios. Twin beds or king in bedroom, single bed and TV with satellite channels in lounge, fully-equipped tiny kitchenette, bathroom with shower. Piglet's Place: Spacious en-suite bed and breakfast room. This charming suite looks onto the beautiful forested gardens. King-size or twin beds, satellite TV, bathroom with bath and hand shower, breakfast nook. The cottages are tastefully decorated and furnished with old wood furniture.

All suites are serviced daily except Sundays. Outdoor barbecue facilities, Secluded Swimming pool, Quality bed linen and towels are provided, laundry and ironing services on request. All suites are equipped with TV, kettles, microwaves, fridges and heaters. A pram, highchair and cot are available. Baby sitting can be arranged. Plenty of wood is at your disposal.
