Both English and continental breakfasts are served on the patio beside the pool or on the North terrace, and are included in the rates.
Regret no children under 12. And no self-catering facilities.
Halcyon offers 3 types of accommodation:
The Kingfisher Suite (R.750 p/p in season) (thumbnail 1,2 and 3 below from left) is a spacious private suite with its own dressing room (in Beech and Cherry wood), and a well-appointed bathroom. The master bedroom, with fold-away doors onto a private balcony, has dramatic sea-views across the bay to the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The bathroom has spa bath, double shower, under tile heating and bidet. Features in the suite include King-size bed, DVD, TV, safe, fan and under carpet heating.
The Nautilus Room(s) (thumbnails 4 and 5 below from left) is an elegant two-bedroom unit with lovely sea and mountain views. It can be booked by a couple, or by parties of three or four (at a more reasonable rate). The rooms have sea-views, TV, DVD player, hairdryer and fan, and one has a private balcony. The Nautilus Rooms have a separate shower room and bathroom - each with own toilet. The unit provides en-suite accommodation for couples, or shared facilities when used by a group.
The Coral Room (thumbnail 6) is our budget room. It is a small double room with queen-size bed and en-suite shower and toilet. French doors lead into a picturesque garden courtyard, (but does not have sea-views). When the house is at full occupancy, Coral Room guests have off-street parking, but not garage parking.
