Facilities

Situated in the province of Free State, surrounded by a lovely farm style and mountainous sites. In Philippolis in the southern Free State you can switch off completely and forget about rush-hour traffic and deadlines. The tree lined dirt roads, simple Karoo-style cottages and pomegranate and quince trees heavy with fruit.

We had an immaculately restored old house, complete with interesting antiques, to ourselves for the night. Friendly, helpful owner that has a long history with the town. Highly recommended.

It's a small town and pleasant surroundings. The flats are cosy with nice solid furniture. We felt at home, having such a nice host.
