Description

Glen View Guest House is a unique and well positioned venue located in the metropolitan area of eThekwini, where the views from several of the rooms remind one of being in a tree house. Despite the relaxing atmosphere, one is a mere 3 km from the N2 and in close proximity to Durban's attractions such as soccer, rugby and cricket stadiums, Umhlanga Beach, the Gateway Theatre of Shopping, and La Lucia Mall.

Being situated on the doorstep of Riverside Business Park, part of the ever growing Riverhorse Valley Industrial Estate, Glen View Guest House is well situated for corporate guests.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the balcony and is a great way to start the day. The balcony, with its picturesque view, is the ideal place to relax with a sundowner, and few places are more alluring to watch the full moon rising. Guests can enjoy tea in a nook four storeys high, or just relax under the palms at the pool.

The setting ensures tranquillity, with a range of accommodation including double or twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and self-catering suites with kitchenettes. Groups of up to 10 people can be accommodated exclusively on one floor, with access directly to the braai and pool area.

Glen View boasts unrivaled views of the Glen, a conference centre where the tranquil setting can contribute to creative management planning sessions, and a lush cascading garden with magnificent fish-tail palms, cycads, and ferns surrounding the pool.

We enjoyed staying at Glenview and the host was very welcoming. We were free to do anything we want, though there were strict rules to follow, yet there was respect. Won't mind using this facility again.
